The Green Bay Packers…
After the Packers vs. Bills game, Buffalo released their
quarterback Trent Edwards.
During the Packers vs. Eagles game, the Packers injured
Philadelphia quarterback Kevin Kolb. Philadelphia then
had to play backup quarterback Michael Vick.
During a playoff game against the Eagles, the Packers
injured Michael Vick and another backup was needed.
After the Packers vs. Cowboys game, Dallas fired Wade Phillips.
After the Packers vs. Vikings game, Minnesota fired Brad Childress.
Four weeks after losing to the Packers, the 49er’s coach,
Mike Singletary, was fired and replaced.
During the Bears playoff game, the Packers injured Jay Cutler
and backup Todd Collins forcing the Bears to go with 3rd string
quarterback Caleb Hanie.
Is it just me, or did the Packers create more jobs than Obama this past year?
While Democrats have attacked Tea Party patriots as a right-wing fringe element who are out of touch with mainstream Americans, and Republicans have tried to hijack the conservative Tea Party logo, the question begs to be asked, what are the Tea Parties really all about?
Tea Party endorsements are not handed out to either party. They go to individuals with proven conservative voting track records who adhere to strict constitutional principles that our Founding Fathers espoused.
Tea Party patriots are normal, everyday, working people who are fed up with having to balance their family budgets while Congress and the lawyers in Washington, D.C., cook up ways to “tax the living daylights out of us” and then hire thousands of IRS hooligans to come to our homes and hit us over the head with their tax-and-spend billy clubs.
We also believe in American sovereignty — not being ruled by the United Nations. We’re not convinced that globalism is great; we want our military airplanes made here in the USA.
Lastly, we believe the Constitution is a finite document created by our Founding Fathers to limit the scope, control and power of government, not give it a blank check to drain the lifeblood out of the heartland of our great nation.
It’s as simple as that.
The Tea Party is not a bunch of knuckle dragging racists as some people may have heard. We are hard working Americans being controlled by a government that is out of control. I think the difference between a Tea Party member and a non-member has to be just misunderstanding what the Tea Party is all about. I can’t believe there are people that enjoy the government controlling every aspect of their life, open borders, high taxes, and spending our children’s future without any regard for the United States citizen’s future or safety.
Are YOU a slave of the system?
I have been told that this isn’t the Ft. Hood Memorial. It’s at Arlington on Memorial Day, 2009. He’s not saluting because they are paying Hail To the Chief. If he saluted, he’d be saluting himself. I stand corrected. What was it the Church Lady used to always say…
Oh yeah… “Never mind” 😉
I am sorry folks, but is this the jerk that was elected President of our country? You know, the United States of America .
I do believe that saluting the flag goes with that, as does respecting and honoring the service members who have died.
Does this pompous ass believe he is above that gesture? If not a salute, how about a hand over the heart like the other guy?
He can shower us all with flowery words (via teleprompter) and dazzle us with his B.S., but actions speak louder. He has no idea about patriotism or respect.
